Choosing the right pet for your family and home environment is not an easy task, and requires special consideration. The choice between a dog or cat or other pet, as well as the breed of pet, should be made carefully and thoughtfully. Some pets require lots of room to run, and a big yard. Others do well in apartments or smaller homes. Additionally, some breeds require a lot more care and attention than others, some get along with children better than others, some bark more than others, etc. The type, size, and breed of pet you choose should be one that will fit comfortably into your environment, get along well with your family, and requires a level of care you feel you can provide within the context of your work and family schedule.
