Owning a pet is not as easy as many people, especially children, think. This article will help you teach your children about the basic needs of pets, and how they vary depending on the type and breed of pet you choose. It will also teach them how to approach a strange cat or dog, and explain the difference between tame pets and wild or feral cats or dogs.
