Common Pet Parasites

Parasites are a common and dangerous threat to your pet's health. Here in Ohio, fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are abundant. These pests can cause much more than superficial skin lesions. These common nuisances, and other sources like standing water, can carry other parasites and diseases that can cause serious health problems, and even death. To make matters worse, many of these parasites and diseases can also be transferred from your pet to your children and family members. These zoonotic diseases can threaten the health of your family members.
